Vitality 2015

If you are not a member of Discovery, I apologize in advance as today I want to highlight a few changes that Discovery has made. This is not a conclusive list but rather a few things I have found helpful.
Firstly – the HealthyFood benefit has changed. No longer do Discovery credit card holders get 25% PayBack at both Woolworths and Pick and Pay on healthy foods, but members have to choose their preferred provider which can be done online. In order to get the PayBack you have to swipe your card, before the teller rings up the shop. At Pick and Pay it is your Discovery credit card and at Woolworths your Woolworths card.
The same applies as last year: on activation members get 10% back on HealthyFood and once they have done their Vitality Age online, they get 15% back on healthy foods. In order to get the full 25% PayBack, members must have a Vitality Health Check at a pharmacy.
HealthyGear can be used at any Sportsmans Warehouse and Totalsports stores where you can get up to 25% back on Healthy Gear. You have to swipe a HealthyGear card, which can be ordered through Vitality, before the cashier rings up your items. It works similarly in that you get 10% once activated. Do an Online Vitality Fitness Assessment at www. discovery.co.za and Vitality Fitness Assessment at a biokineticist and you can increase your cash back on HealthyGear to 25% at your preferred partner and 10% cash back at the other partner.
The Vitality Health Check and Vitality Fitness Assessments must be done every 12 months in order to maintain the 25% PayBack.
Another benefit that needs to be reviewed annually is your Kids Vitality Health Review. Once you have done the health review for each child, your children can watch movies at any Ster-Kinekor for free before 7pm and they can get 25% back on ChroniCare at Dischem. Make sure you do the health review as it is not fun getting to the movies and having to pay for an otherwise free outing.
